New to the Everett Farmers Market this season, Alli and Reese Parrett bring a longtime love of pottery to their Edmonds-based business, Sound Ceramics.
Alli first discovered pottery in high school, where she learned to shape clay by hand and work at the wheel. Life later took her in other directions, including studying literature, living in Scotland, and working in marketing. But her love of clay stayed with her.
In 2021, Alli and Reese built their first home studio in Seattle. A move to Edmonds brought room for a larger studio, and in 2025, they took another big step: becoming full-time potters.
Today, they create handmade mugs, bowls, planters, and other homewares meant to be used and loved every day. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, each piece has its own character—something to enjoy with your morning coffee or bring to the dinner table.
Stop by to meet Alli and Reese and explore their work at the Everett Farmers Market on October 4, 11, 18, and 25. They’ll also join us November 22 for the Gather and Give Holiday Celebration.
