Barb “The Token Lady” Passes Away

Barb “the Token Lady” doing her job at the farmers market.

On April 21st, after suffering a short illness, our esteemed co-worker Barbara Copeland, “The Token Lady” as many of you who visited the Manager’s Booth on Sundays knew her, passed away.

Barb was instrumental in serving others selflessly in the community, and we will miss her very much. Our hearts go out to her family and friends and all of you who frequented the Everett Farmers Market.

A Memorial Fund has been set up Barbara Copeland Memorial Fund to honor her tireless efforts to add joy and a welcoming spirit to the Everett Farmers Market, and to those less fortunate who she encouraged and made feel at home while shopping with their EBT tokens. click here to contribute to her Memorial.

Barb first came to the Market with Tone and Inger Hutton, the previous owners, for three years before joining us for the last five. As we receive additional information, we will pass that along. We express our sincerest condolences for our friend and colleague, Barbara Copeland.
