Working with the Farmer Frog who cultivates programs, school gardens, and hands-on learning to nurture communities, the Everett Mall agreed to host the Everett Farmers Market on Fridays in the parking lot South of Sears. This was a great opportunity to bring local fresh produce to an area of Everett which was considered to be a food desert. There was a limited number of grocery stores in the area to purchase food.
